Advocacy Institute for safe abortion rights brought me to Mumbai for the first time. The first impression of the city was not that pleasant. Immediately after getting down the train I smelled fish all around me. I booked a cab and reached the hotel Westend situated in the New Marine Lines area in south Mumbai.Since I was tired after 24 hours long journey I crashed into the bed.
Next day we started with the advocacy Institute with our facilitators Shweta, Dr. Dalvi and Dr. Shilpa. Lots of sessions lots of facilitators, lots of energizers and lots and lots of information-but still we managed to have the time of our life-we the 13 participants from 10 different countries.
13 strangers came together and now on the last day of the workshop it feels bad to separate.
Hoping to meet all of them again I am packing my bags to go back and spread the message- My body, my womb, my right and my choice.
